What do you get when you put together sugar, glucose syrup, cream, a bit of flavouring and a great dose of Lindy Hop ? Well if you do it right you might get a dozen of Pärlans caramels or a chance to visit their sweetshop in Stockholm!
Lisa, the owner, opened a small confectionary shop and cafe in bohemian-chic Södermalm district in Stockholm, Sweden that sells the sweetest, smoothest and most buttery caramels with flavors such as chocolate, almond, licorice, polka vanilla and sea salt.
Pärlans caramels are hand cut, hand wrapped and are made from organic fresh cream, real butter, sugar and glucose in copper pots.
This charming business is run by women who share the same love for the 30′s and 40′s , the same aesthetics and appreciation for design, fashion and music. Entering Pärlans is like traveling to a different era where time is slowed down and quality is what really matters.
