arts & crafts / 2

We decided that winter is over (or comes to an end) because we couldn’t wait to add a touch of spring on our dinning table! We made these colorful napkin rings from empty paper tubes that can match any table-scape!It’s so easy and fun to make!

things you will need :

  • paper tube or paper rolls
  • ¬†pencil
  • cutter
  • measuting tape
  • glue
  • embroidery thread in different colors

the procedure :

Using your measuring tape, measure 4 cm and mark with your pencil around the paper tube.Cut your pencil lines with a cutter and repeat for up to 8 rings.Pick a color of thread to start with.Put a small dot of glue on the inside of the paper and stick one end of the thread to the glue.Wrap the thread tightly and carefully around the tube, trying to cover all the white parts and when you have finished stick the other end of the thread to a small dot of glue too.Chose another color to continue and star wrapping right next to the previous color.Repeat the procedure until you have covered the whole paper tube!Good luck!
